As part of the April 27th Field Training Service Project at Pullman Tech Workshop, Platoon Leadership Team members from across the country will collaborate to beautify the Workshop's spaces and enhance its training facilities.
The Pullman Tech Workshop (PTW) is a nonprofit social enterprise formed by local area residents with a passion for preservation, education, and community revitalization to address systemic barriers to accessing trades training programs that still exist, including accessibility to a diverse and under-represented audience.
Together, we will paint a classroom, mulch and landscape the outdoor area, sand and stain benches, build farmhouse tables and wooden games, and conduct a trash detail to help beautify the outdoor area. By completing these projects, we aim to help revitalize the Pullman Tech Workshop training facilities so they can engage more learners in a welcoming learning environment.
This event is only open to field training cohort participants.
Tools, equipment, water, and lunch will be provided.
