L.A.C.E.R. Starfest 2023 Student Variety Show & Fundraiser

Join the Los Angeles service platoon as we support the L.A.C.E.R. Afterschool Support program at their 2023 Starfest Student Variety Show and Fundraiser. We will be assisting with tasks such as setup and breakdown, ushers and greeters, production assistants, and stagehands.

L.A.C.E.R. Afterschool Programs offers free after-school classes to students in eight Title 1 LAUSD middle and high schools. Each school has its own unique profile, and its programming reflects that. Each day over 1,000 students show up after school and receive an in-depth array of academics, art, and athletic classes.

STARFEST is unique. It is the only time throughout the year L.A.C.E.R. students who participate in our arts programs – music, dance, theatre, etc. – get to flaunt their newfound skills they have developed in our program. The experience for the students is priceless, but we need your help to make it happen.

The dress code is "Theatre Black" (All black with comfy shoes)

There is parking onsite for all of the volunteers.
