Please join the Travis Manion Foundation and South Side Community Action Network to help clean-up and build-out two different community gardens. These are award winning community gardens that work to benefit a growing community and family of urban gardens. Tasks are likely to include: weeding, planting, building raised garden beds, and installing exterior siding. All volunteers of all skill sets are welcome. We are looking for some volunteers with carpentry or masonry skills to help with the construction of an arbor, steps and handrails, and lay brick pavers. All volunteers must register with TMC and TMF https://www.travismanion.org/events/operation-legacy/spring-2020-columbus-oh/ Lunch will be provided. Accessibility: we will be working largely on grassy areas so it may not be accessible for all.
