The Mission Continues will be doing some restoration the historic St. Nicholas Park on Martin Luther King Day! Every year on Martin Luther King Day, The Mission Continues partners with the Student Conservation Association to help restore a cherished park. This year we will be at St. Nicholas Park! St. Nicholas Park, created in 1895 and named after St. Nicholas the patron saint of Amsterdam, is the site of Alexander Hamilton's historic home"The Grange" and is designated as a National Memorial. The Mission Continues will be going to help keep it beautiful! We will help to restore this historic green space by mulching, improving trails throughout the park, and combating invasive species to help maintain the park. The Student Conservation Association will supply coffee, breakfast, and snacks as well as all project supplies. Please REGISTER with Student Conservation Association HERE to complete the SCA's online waiver.
