2nd Platoon at Williams Park

Join Detroit 2nd Platoon as we take on our 2nd park of the summer! This time we will be at Williams Park at 2060 W. Euclid St Detroit, MI 48206 . Here is what to expect for Saturday: No prior experience necessary, our non-profit partner, Motor City Grounds Crew, will be onsite to help facilitate! 2-3 People for power washing. There are 2 pavilions and a small water playground that can use a wash. 2 People for bench repair, mulching. 2 People to build/paint chalkboards. 2 People for augering holes and securing the chalkboards. 3 people for edging. 3-4 people for grass removal. Inclement Weather

In the event of inclement weather we will flex this event to a social. If the project gets rained out we will still have the food truck at the park at 1200pm for a picnic and discussion about where 2nd Platoon will be going over the next year.
