Please join The Mission Continues Newark Platoon for an exciting project that will include some awesome wood working and building. Our goal is to build 20 lockers and shelving for Fedcap Aspirations Children's Partial Care Mental Health. Fedcap Aspirations Children's Partial Care Mental Health is a licensed NJ Department of Human Services Company that provides comprehensive mental health services to children and youth. The facility serves as an afterschool program from 4-7PM on weekdays for youths from Newark and its surrounding areas. We will split our Operation into two parts. Part 1 - Go to location in Clifton. Cut and paint wood under the guidance of a carpenter. Part 2 - Take materials and drive it to Fairfield (373D Route 46 West Suite 110, Fairfield, NJ 07004) and assemble lockers. If you need help with transportation please let us know in advance so we may know who needs to car pool.
