The Mission Continues Miami Platoon has been given an opportunity to have veterans that are members attend a Lionfish Eradication event on Nov 11, 2016. We have room for 16 members that are veterans to attend this event. You MUST be a prior member AND a veteran in order to attend unless we have open spots. You must be open water certified in order to scuba dive (no exceptions) or you can snorkel if not. We must know which activity you will do. If you plan to scuba we need the following: BC Size, Certification Level, and Certification #. We are hoping to catch enough LionFish to cook up at the marina after fishing. Whatever we do catch will be shared among all people on the boat including crew. We are trying to get other boats to take veterans to snorkel in the area as well. If anyone knows someone willing to assist in taking veterans out please let us know. There is a BBQ deck at the Marina that has been reserved for our group Please let us know if you wish to attend, keep in mind, this is for members that are veterans only unless we have open spots left. If you know of any reliable and safe boat owners willing to take some extra people out, please let us know.
