Envisioning the Future Session 1

The Mission Continues is a nationwide organization the deploys veterans on new missions in their communities, so that their actions will inspire future generations to serve. Over the past 3 years, The Mission Continues Newark Service Platoon has been all over Newark executing over 50+ community service events to serve the community. One of the communities where we have seen a lot of hope and desire for meaningful change is in the Central Ward specifically in the community that surrounds Jesse Allen Park. Our goal is simple - provide community service opportunities for military veterans to continue their service in Central Ward for the next 3 to 5 years. We need your help to determine what this motivated group of veterans can do. Do you have ideas on how we can make Central Ward a shining beacon of positive change and hope for all of Newark?
