Puerto Rico Platoon

Event overview

Twenty-three years ago, on September 11th, our nation was forever changed. In remembrance of the lives lost and the spirit of sacrifice shown that day, the Puerto Rico Platoon invites you to join us for a day of service and unity at Violanta Jimenez Elementary School. This project isn’t just about giving back—it’s about honoring the ongoing sacrifices made by our Armed Forces and coming together as a community to create something meaningful.

Our tasks will include clearing brush, building 4 raise beds, planting flowers and fruit trees, beatification of the area, building a shade structure and more. This is just phase one of our project, leading up to Veterans Day on November 9th.

This is more than volunteer work—it's a chance to connect with others, reflect on the significance of 9/11, and make a lasting impact in our community. Whether you’re a veteran, a family member, or a dedicated community member, your participation will make a difference. Together, we’ll honor the past by making PR stronger, better, and more connected. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of something truly special!
