Get Your Hands Dirty in the Brooks People's Garden

April 30, 2024

07:45 AM - 11:00 AM MST

Phoenix Platoon

Event overview

This will be our first time volunteering as a platoon at another one of Tiger Mountain Foundation's community gardens. On the agenda will be PPH-Prepping, Planting and Harvesting. Plus, there's always a topic of the day in the Opening and Closing Talking Circles that generates dialogue and contemplation. The Mission Continues believes in the power of every individual to make a difference. If you're passionate about giving back to the community and making a positive impact, we invite you to join us. From hands-on tasks to behind-the-scenes roles, there's something for everyone. No matter your physical capabilities, there's a place for you in our service projects. Together, let's build a more inclusive and compassionate world. Water, gloves and sunscreen will be provided. The garden is on the north side of the school. Enter the parking lot toward the east end through the double gates. You'll see the basketball court in front of you. We will meet at the garden.
