Lay a Rose at every Grave, Roses donated to Victory for Veterans ensure we remember the true meaning of Memorial Day and honor those no longer with us. Victory for Veterans is a non profit organization dedicated to support and serve veterans https://www.victoryforveterans.org/cemetery (to donate) their goal is to lay a rose at a every grave on our national cemeteries nation wide; to date the event is available in 10 of those national cemeteries and our Ft Bliss is number 10. Come join The Mission Continues El Paso Platoon on our 2nd year of rose laying. For this event to be a success register with link provided to the event, share on your social media networks, donate or bring roses to the event, the more roses we have the more roses we can provide to lay on the graves of our fallen. Register as you enter the cemetery and turn in your roses, we will start promptly at 0800 and will stop at 0900 if not done. Ceremonies start promptly at 0900, we can continue laying roses after ceremonies end. If registered on victory for veterans website please make sure you let us know.

What to Bring

A heart full of gratitude, a smile, hands ready for service. Sun screen, cap, gloves. Can bring additional Roses and/or donate at https://www.victoryforveterans.org/cemetery. Have umbrella and ponchos for possible rain showers. This event is will occur before/ after Ft Bliss ceremony. Intent to be done by 0900.

Inclement Weather

Be prepared to get wet if it rains, the event will not be cancelled. Bring Pancho or umbrella. Warm or cold weather gear highly encouraged, wear sunscreen.
