It is time for another awesome platoon social, as we embrace the extremely warm weather we have been experiencing during the start of this fall season. With that being said, it's important that we realize that we are all born with a unique balance of three Doshas. Generally one or two will dominate, and this will determine the Ayurvedic routine for our bodies and mind. We all have Vata, Pitta, and Kapha (the 3 doshas), in our constitution, but in different proportions. With this in mind, we want to shed light on the Pitta Dosha. With the Pitta Dosha we want to avoid heat, alcohol, smoking, pressure and stress, ... Our friends over at Dharma Yoga & Wellness Center want to treat and assist us in alleviating pressure and stress with a yoga class that is relaxing, calming, and appropriate for Veterans. Enjoy a nice, light, and yummy dinner afterwards, over at Anna's Pizza!! We will share pepperoni and cheese pizzas, baked ziti, garlic knots, a refreshing salad, and some refreshing drinks/water to keep that Pitta Dosha cool, calm and relaxed! *We will walk to Anna's Pizza afterwards for dinner (Location is within the same shopping center, or two doors down from the yoga studio).* This event is LIMITED to 10-12 Participants only; this event will also be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
