Kashmere Gardens Community Needs Your Help! Hurricane Harvey left over 1,300 destroyed and over 300,000 damaged. As of September, over 740,000 people registered for FEMA assistance. For the 4th largest city in the US this means the need will be massive and SBP with the help of Volunteers are here to assist in the recovery efforts following Hurricane Harvey. TMC and SBP have partnered to rebuild homes and lives in the Kashmere Gardens Community, helping families displaced by Hurricane Harvey. Volunteer age limit is 14 years old and up! Parent or chaperone must volunteer on site with minors. The required ratio is 1 parent/chaperone per 4 minors. Volunteers will engage in one or more of the following rebuilding tasks: Demolition & mold remediation Insulation, Drywall installation, Mudding & Sanding, Priming & painting, Door installation, Trim installation, Flooring, Final punch and Exterior work!
