At the food bank, our Mission Continues volunteers will be sorting perishable and non-perishable items. After the shift, they will take one big group photo where they share how many meals were provided during the shift. For non-perishable sorting we will be inspect the donated products to make sure they're good quality and not expired. We will then sort items into categories to be distributed to Feeding Tampa Bay's local partner agencies in 10 county areas. These will also go out to the community through Feeding Tampa Bay's agency partners or through programs we have with elementary schools, high schools, Boys & Girls Clubs, etc. Volunteers must be ages 5+ and wear CLOSED-TOE SHOES.
