Event overview

Cleveland 1st Platoon is teaming up with Team Rubicon to demolish and clear the interior of a shelter in downtown Cleveland, allowing the facilities to expand. The shelter currently hosts an average 600 vulnerable individuals, families and at-risk women per night, and this project will allow them room to take on even more.Volunteers will be demolishing inside walls, replacing ceiling tiles, moving the debris and clearing work site. The area has been made safe electrically and has been previously cleared of all asbestos and hazardous materials. All are invited to end the day with a social, eating some of Cleveland's finest pizza.
