We're supporting Team Rubicon during their fire mitigation operation called Operation Thunder Valley. It's going to be taking place in Lakewood right along the slopes of Green Mountain. The Operation is slated for the 24th/25th of June. Pending on volunteer turn out, we might be able to knock this out in one day! Since Nov of 2016, eight wildfires have broken out in and around the Green Mountain area. We've been asked to assist Team Rubicon as they support the fire mitigation efforts around the neighborhood in the path of the most recent fires. We'll also be teaming up with West Metro Fire Department, Jefferson County Parks Dept and local volunteers to help make this operation a success. Moe's BBQ will be providing lunch and Team Rubicon will be providing the gear, the work, and refreshments after the project. We will be managed by Team Rubicon as they coordinate all the efforts.
