Tampa Platoon

Event overview

On Saturday, November 12th, veterans and supporters local to the Tampa Bay Area continue their mission of service at home by supporting a large scale beautification project to benefit the Women’s Resource Center (WRC) of Tampa located in Brandon, FL. Veterans, partners and supporters of Tampa’s 1st Service Platoon will help beautify the WRC's recently established homeless shelter, dubbed the 'Little White House.' This facility benefits many families in the community during times of crisis. The site improvements planned for our Veterans Day of service project include: cleaning and repainting the facility, finishing privacy fence, building garden beds, mulching and improving over landscape. We hope to see you there!
