2nd Platoon is headed back to Rosa Parks Elementary School! Earlier in the year we dedicated an event to cleaning up the school's garden which immediately brought classes back outside into this beautiful little space. Students began utilizing the garden boxes by classroom and even enjoying lunch out there! Although the platoon was able to help them tremendously with the previous event the garden still needs a lot of love. This time around we will be doing work such as replacing garden boxes, providing new outdoor seating for the many students and teachers that utilize this space, and making the garden an overall safer and more functional space. We look forward to serving the community and making a great impact in honor of Veteran's Day! Hope to see you out there!
