This year marks the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, and The Mission Continues is issuing a call to veterans and citizens across the country to stand united again to celebrate our country and strengthen our communities through service. The Denver Service Platoon, with support from the Colorado Springs Service Platoon, will have their 2nd service project in conjunction with the Mount Saint Vincent Home in Denver. The scope for this project will be to paint their staff cafeteria, landscaping work to include removing bushes, deep cleaning of the school's carpets, and preparation work for follow-on projects. With over 16 acres of land and multiple facilities, there will be plenty of work to do! The Central Region Project Manager, Damion Martin, will be on site to help plan and execute this project. BBQ will be provided for lunch by our very own Chef Prince Thomas! Due to the sensitivity of the project site, no children under the age of 16 are able to participate in this event. Thank you for your understanding.

Parking Information
When you get here please drive just slightly north of the main circle driveway to what looks like a service driveway, in between the community garden and the Safeway plaza. Pull all the way down that driveway and you will reach a car security gate- please do not pull inside the gate until I am there for security purposes. Even if the gate opens please have all cars wait outside until 8am.
