South Texas Veterans Health Care System, Morgan's Wonderland and Mobility Works are hosting their 7th Annual Welcome Home Veterans Event in celebration of Armed Forces Day. This welcome home event includes Veterans of all eras! Sponsors for this event are Krispy Kreme, Chick-fil-a, USAA, Coca-Cola, Cane's, Walgreens and Skyline. Admission is free to Service Members, Veterans and their families. Should you decide to stay and enjoy the park after the event, closing time is 5:00 pm. The opening ceremony will begin at 11:00 am. This is a great opportunity to connect with your peers. There will be music, food, games and prizes! Many Veteran Service Organizations will be present to provide information such as VA Health Care Eligibility and Enrollment, VBA, San Antonio Vet Center, Mental Health Services, Healthcare for Homeless Vets, VA Voluntary Service and Fisher House, Minority Veterans Program, Women Veterans Program, Million Veteran Program, Texas Veterans Commission, Texas Disabled Veterans Association, Texas Veterans Land Board and much, much more!!!
