Join Us This January for #LegacyofService: Honoring MLK Day with Action!

This January, The Mission Continues is calling you to serve in celebration of The Martin Luther King Jr. National Day of Service through #LegacyofService!

MLK Day is more than a day off—it’s a day to honor those who have fought and continue to fight for equality and justice, both in and out of uniform. We recognize the impact of activism and the power of citizens working together for a brighter future. While we've made great strides, there's still work to be done, and veterans are uniquely suited to lead this positive change.

We are creating an outdoor garden retreat environment for Haven of Peace's shelter where women survivors of domestic violence (and their children) can receive the therapeutic benefits of physical and creative work of gardening. The outdoor space will include a gazebo with new seating, water features, new arbor, and new plants/flowers/trees to create a safe space. The garden project will enhance the emotional and mental wellness of women and children at Haven of Peace.
This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to our everyday heroes and honor Dr. King's dream of equality. All ages and skill levels are welcome—let’s make a difference together!
