This January, The Mission Continues is calling you to serve in celebration of The Martin Luther King Jr. National Day of Service through #LegacyofService!
MLK Day is more than a day off—it’s a day to honor those who have fought and continue to fight for equality and justice, both in and out of uniform. We recognize the impact of activism and the power of citizens working together for a brighter future. While we've made great strides, there's still work to be done, and veterans are uniquely suited to lead this positive change.
Be part of an exciting day of transformation as we work together to beautify the Lookout Point area. Our efforts will include removing invasive species, trimming trees and bushes, and creating walking paths to make this space more enjoyable for everyone. We’ll provide water, sunscreen, and gloves—just bring your energy and enthusiasm! Let’s roll up our sleeves and make a lasting impact in our community.
This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to our everyday heroes and honor Dr. King's dream of equality. All ages and skill levels are welcome—let’s make a difference together!
