Garden Bed Refabrication at the Garden of Tomorrow

October 26, 2024

07:45 AM - 11:00 AM MST

Phoenix Platoon

Event overview

Come out to support the platoon and Tiger Mountain Foundation for some garden fun! The primary task will be refabricating an existing raised garden bed. This is part of a larger project coming in December when the platoon and Carmax employees will install agro-voltaic structures to the refabbed garden beds. Secondary tasks will include prepping, planting and harvesting. Socializing and dialoguing are always things we do at the garden. There is no drinking water source on site but water will be provided. Sunscreen will also be provided. There are no restrooms on site but they are available next door. The partner recommends going with a buddy. The Mission Continues believes in the power of every individual to make a difference. If you're passionate about giving back to the community and making a positive impact, we invite you to join us. From hands-on tasks to behind-the-scenes roles, there's something for everyone. No matter your physical capabilities, there's a place for you in our service projects. Together, let's build a more inclusive and compassionate world.
