Dear Mission Continues Family, We are excited to extend a special invitation to join us in supporting Blue Hole Farm, a cherished partner in our local community. As part of our ongoing commitment to making a difference, we are gearing up to lend a hand in a nature-based project that’s close to our hearts. Event Details: Date: 10/19/2024 Time: 10AM-5PM (2 shifts) Location: Blue Hole Farm, 5546 BLUE HOLE RD, Antioch, TN, United States, Tennessee Why We’re Volunteering: Blue Hole Farm has been instrumental in creating enriching experiences for our Antioch-Cane Ridge community, particularly through their recent Pumpkin Festival. This local event was a great success last year, thanks to the incredible support from volunteers and community members who enjoyed a vibrant pumpkin patch, live music, and more. Now, Blue Hole Farm needs our help again to tend to tend to the pumpkin patch and continue nurturing the bond between nature and our community. No experience is needed—just a willingness to roll up your sleeves and contribute a few hours of your time. What You’ll Experience: Pumpkin Tending: Assist in loading and unloading pumpkins. Farm Fun: Enjoy the company of Blue Hole Farm’s friendly goats, chat with the guineas for some farm gossip, marvel at the baby ducks, and soak up the charm of this local gem. Community Building: Booth set up to meet fellow veterans and make new friends while supporting a cause that brings joy to many. Traffic Directing: Assisting with parking and leading festival patrons to the farm How to get involved: Please let us know if you can join us so we can coordinate accordingly.
