PLT615 is supporting the Mill Creek Watershed Association for a morning of trash clean up along the Collins Creek river behind the Avana Collins Creek Apartments and Home Depot off Bell Rd.. Mill Creek Watershed Association (MCWA) will be our onsite hosts for this event . MCWA is dedicated to providing education and support for improving and protecting the beautifully unique Mill Creek Watershed. The Watershed encompasses agricultural lands, suburban communities, urban neighborhoods, congested commercial areas, industrial areas and the Nashville airport. The watershed covers 108 square miles and is home to a vibrant blend of culturally diverse human communities that share the region with a beautiful biologically diverse community of plants and animals native to Middle Tennessee. The Collins Creek feeds into that watershed. Parking and meet up location: Avana Apartment Complex parking area at 1157 Bell Road (see attached map) and walk over to the site. You may also choose to park in the Home Depot Parking area.Meet at the dead end at 5244 Cane Ridge Road. No experience is necessary. All ages are welcome. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. #OperationFortify
