Summer Clean Up and ADA Planters at Furtick Farms

June 01, 2024

09:00 AM - 02:00 PM EDT

Philadelphia Platoon

Event overview

We are going back to our community partner, Furtick Farms, to assist with their farm and complete a clean up of the park across the street. Furtick Farms offers events and classes for adults and children to learn to use their "green thumb". Furtick Farms is run by Green City Teachers, an organization of Philadelphia school teachers that want to teach the youth to obtain sustainable food resources. We are proud to get our hands dirty, clean up, build some planters, and continue our relationship with Furtick Farms.
