Join The Mission Continues for our annual and nationwide campaign in honor of 9/11. Together we will mobilize volunteers to serve in cities across America alongside local veterans and community members.
The Motor City Grounds Crew maintains parks and green spaces throughout Detroit. Since 2013 they've adopted over 15 parks through the Adopt a Park program.
For this project, we will be working at the Morningside Community Campus location. It's the site of 9 formerly vacant lots that have been transformed into a community garden. Scope of work to include: building benches, picnic tables, landscaping around the garden, creating a mulch path, building a pavilion, and installing a split rail fence.
