Gamble Recreation Center Wrap Up

Join St Louis 2nd Platoon and The Mission Continues to lend a hand in the Veterans Day wrap up of Gamble Recreation Center, in north St Louis City! In order to complete the wrap up we need to Install new lockers in the boxing gym, complete paint work on doors and basketball court, install benches for the baseball dugouts, install bases and dirt for the new field, lastly, cover vents to winter proof the building. If you are unable to join us, please visit the Gamble Rec Wish list and consider purchasing a few items to enrich the use of the spaces we are creating. Please note, that any donations are not tax deductible as the city of St. Louis is not registered as a 501c3.

Comfortable work clothing and closed-toed shoes.

What to Bring

Bring a refillable water bottle to reduce our impact on the environment! You are also welcome to bring your own tools and personal safety gear, but are responsible for their care and use. The Mission Continues will provide tools and one-size-fits all safety equipment.

This project will go on rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, some task may be moved indoors or cancelled.
