(Photo credit: Landscape Online) This is part of an ongoing series of 5th Platoon social events held during 2016 designed to teach YOU how to take better iPhone or "Smartphone" cellphone pictures, with an emphasis on how to capture new perspectives, and the small details that tell a story. The venue for this class is the beautiful United States Botanic Garden, located next to the US Capitol. Your instructor is Theresa Hilsdon, 5th Platoon Leader, who also has over a decade of experience in professional photography. She will teach you simple and effective techniques that can be used immediately and will result in YOU taking better pictures. You will find these techniques useful for capturing the photo stories of our Mission Continues Service Project days, social events, and in every day life. You may want to leave extra time in your schedule to tour the garden after class is over. Who: YOU!
