Bright Lights, Big Futures TowneBank Atheltic Park Grand Opening

Our Platoon will be supporting the Bright Lights, Bright Futures TowneBank Atheltic Park Grand Opening Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula http://www.bagclub.com We will be assigned a voluteer time window for all our members to work together. Free Event T-shirt for Volunteers! Volunteers will fill the following roles: *Selling Concessions *Game Attendants *Selling Raffle Tickets *Assisting during Scrimmages *DJ Assistant *Balloon Animal Assistant *Face Paint Assistant *Clean-up *And More! On Friday, September 11th, 2015, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula and TowneBank will host Bright Lights, Bright Futures, the Grand Opening event for the TowneBank Athletic Park located across from the Pinedale Manor Boys & Girls Club. This 1.5 million dollar multi-sport facility was developed for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula in partnership with Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation to engage and develop youth through sports, ultimately changing the cycle of violence in our community. Bright Lights, Bright Futures will be a Field Day Carnival with activities such as bounce houses, ring toss, a Punt-Pass-Kick competition, dunk tank, and more! There will also be an Alumni v. Club Member Mushball game, a Boys & Girls Clubs tradition. At the end of the evening we will have a grand reveal of the stadium lights! This event is a “fun”raiser, not a fundraiser, as our goals for this event are to provide a free, family-friendly event to raise awareness for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula and educate the community about the opportunities provided to every youth member of the Peninsula at BGCVP. Bright Lights, Bright Futures is a free event open to the public; attendance is expected to be over 2,000 persons. Visit the event Website!
