Backpacks For Life’s mission is to provide a unique and personalized support system for homeless and at-risk veterans who are struggling to reintegrate into civilian life. They want Veterans of all eras, after being equipped with the right tools and solutions, to seamlessly and confidently reintegrate into society and thrive. The Newark Platoon will be helping with organization supplies and donations, breaking down boxers, moving around donation bins and organizing our storage units to prepare for backpack packing events this Fall. Attire - comfortable clothes (gym shorts, tshirt, sneakers) that you are able to move around in. Masks are not required, unless Covid guidelines deem so. They are in need of Kids School Supplies to include: NOTEBOOKS, INDEX/NOTECARDS, FOLDERS, PENS/PENCILS, PENCIL CASE, PENCIL SHARPENER, ERASER, EAR BUDS, HIGHLIGHTERS, CRAYONS, MARKERS, GLUE STICK, RULER, CALCULATOR, MINI SCISSORS, HAND SANITIZER

When you arrive at Fairfield Self Storage, you will pass two storage buildings on your left, go past these buildings and continue up the hill until you see a third storage building behind a black gate. When you reach the black gate, call Alexa at 973-668-9862 to be buzzed in. Parking available just outside the black gate near the flagpole.
