Operation Enduring Service: Boston Meal Pack

Our organization is collaborating with Boston Cares to organize a signature meal pack in Boston in observance of the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and the federally recognized September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance.

On Saturday, September 11, 2021, more than 500 volunteers from throughout the Boston community will help pack at least 100,000 healthy, non-perishable meals. To help address the growing food crisis, all the meals will be donated to and distributed by The Greater Boston Food Bank to individuals and families who are food insecure.

All participants must register on Eventbrite as well. Click on REGISTER to choose from available volunteer shifts (you’ll pack meals for approximately two hours). We’ll then send you an online ticket through email. Please remember to bring your ticket with you to the event, and arrive at least 20 minutes early for security check-in. This event is FREE! However, space is very limited so register immediately. If you have questions or want to register a larger group, please contact dustin.speakman@911day.org. All volunteers must show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination upon entry and masks must be worn at all times. Children over the age of 12 may participate, but must register individually and be able to show proof of vaccination upon entry.
