Pittsburgh 1st Platoon is focused on community revitalization in the Hazelwood neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Hazelwood has been earmarked for a major re development project. By focusing our efforts in this area, we hope to assist residents avoid displacement and enjoy a higher quality of living. 1st Platoon partners with Center of Life and The Hazelwood Initiative, to ensure the community member's vision is carried out in the green space development and youth support programming in Hazelwood. We actively work to engage and collaborate with residents and community partners, to make a positive impact in the Hazelwood neighborhood.
