Food Bank’s farm at Mission San Juan

On March 9th, from 9:00 to 12:00 We'll be planting new perennial crops 500 fig trees, 20 peach trees, and a large amount of nopal cactus will go into the ground. Volunteers will be trained in proper tree and cactus planting techniques, then split into groups. The planting fields will be prepared with additional compost and planting holes will be loosened prior to the event date. The Food Bank will provide tools, shade tents, water, and music.
