Serving a meal is often an eye-opening experience, and it is a great way to serve the local community, which is why Service Platoon members will spend a few hours of their time on Saturday, May 23rd, at Charlotte Rescue Mission supporting the efforts of the Rebound Program. The Rebound Program at Charlotte Rescue Mission is a 90-day residential program empowering individuals to move beyond cycles of homelessness and addiction to become productive citizens in the community. The program uses a targeted clinical model in conjunction with a faith-based approach to help individuals go from helplessness and homelessness to empowered and capable. Service Platoon members will help cook the food, serve the residents of Charlotte Rescue Mission, and assist in clean-up after the meal. This will be a great opportunity to spend time with the individuals our platoon is committed to helping.
