Macy’s and Got Your 6 Join Forces for American Icons Campaign

For the third year in a row, Got Your 6 and Macy’s are joining forces for the ‘American Icons‘ campaign. From May 16 through May 25, Macy’s shoppers can donate to Got Your 6 at the register and receive a discount off their purchase.

The Mission Continues, lead nonprofit of the leadership pillar of Got Your 6, will receive a portion of donations, which will also be dispersed among affiliate nonprofit partners. Fellows, staff and service platoon leaders have visited Macy’s stores nationwide over the past week, sharing stories of service with store members.

The Mission Continues and partner organizations pledged in 2012 to engage veterans in 5,000,000 hours of volunteer service by the end of 2014, a goal exceeded and then some. To date, more than 4,000 veterans have been empowered to find new missions of service here at home through The Mission Continues.
