Join TMC DC plt celebrate Martin Luther King Day at the Excel Academy. The Excel Academy is the only all-girls K-8 school in D.C. offering a unique single sex education model for girls with a focus on STEM. TMC D.C. Plt has adopt The Excel Academy for the 20/21 school year and this will be our first onsite project. We will have many projects to tackle: 1. Update the garden 2. Create new outdoor learning space 3. Build benched for cafeteria 4. Paint several areas in the school 5. Paint inspirational sayings from influential leaders around the school 6. Work in specialty rooms Registration is open at 9:30 AM with a start time of 10:00 AM.
