The Mission Continues Brooklyn Platoon is deploying once again to Fort Wadsworth, one of the nation's oldest military bases first established in 1663. On this day of service, platoon members and supporters will be removing the invasive species, trees, and years of overgrown plants from the historic Battery Weed Cannon Trail. The Mission Continues Brooklyn Platoon is planning to open this historic trail to the public the weekend of National Trails Day, June 4th. We have 2 other project days coming up. April 16th and June 4th. There's tons of work to be done and we need all the helping hands we can get. Come on out and join us for this once in a lifetime service project.
