Service Project

Grace Temple Church Community Project

May 09, 2026

10:00 AM - 02:00 PM EDT

Columbus OH Platoon

Event overview

Join Travis Manion Foundation’s Columbus, OH Service Platoon for a day of purpose and impact as we head to Grace Temple Church in Cleveland! Together, we’ll roll up our sleeves and transform the space into a cleaner, brighter, and more welcoming environment for the community.
Volunteers will take part in a variety of hands-on projects, including painting to refresh key areas, picking up trash and debris to restore the grounds, and enhancing the landscape by laying mulch and planting vibrant flowers. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or showing up for your first project, there’s a role for everyone and every effort makes a visible difference.
This is more than just a service project—it’s an opportunity to connect with others, give back in a meaningful way, and leave a lasting impact on a community space that serves so many. Come ready to work hard, get a little messy, and be part of something bigger than yourself.

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
