The Mission Continues — Rosehill Cemetery Service

Date:  |  Time:

The Mission Continues Chicago Platoon is heading to Rosehill Cemetery for a powerful day of service, connection, and remembrance. Join fellow volunteers and Veteran Service Organizations such as The Travis Manion Foundation as we honor the heroes interred at one of Chicago’s most historic resting places.

Together we’ll:

  • Carefully clean and restore headstones
  • Preserve veterans’ stories and local history
  • Register gravesites in a national ancestry registry so their legacy is preserved for generations

Come ready to serve, learn, and make an impact that lasts far beyond the day. All skill levels welcome — training and supplies provided.

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
