Event overview

Hey TMC NYC, hope you're enjoying your Spring so far. In the meantime, we're in the works to assist another Greenspace at Bronx River Community Garden. This Community Garden is creating a Greenspace dedicated to the Historical Preservation of the Lenape Tribe. A Native American People that THRIVED in New York City before the Arrival of the Dutch. The Garden is in the Process of Receiving a New Shed to Store things. The Shed is in need of a Solid Foundation in which we will assist in building. There are other Tasks such as painting, mulching, gardening, sanding,, etc. that anyone from the Community can take part and pride in. Let's ensure this Community Garden can be Bright ๐Ÿ˜Ž Spot for Summer ๐ŸŒž Solstice. Charlie Mike!

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF atย travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.ย
