St. Louis Community Impact Day

June 14, 2025

08:30 AM - 01:00 PM CDT

St. Louis Platoon

Event overview

Hey St. Louis! In honor of the annual Celebrate St. Louis event in July, we are collaborating with the VP Community Impact Foundation and Celebrate St. Louis to host a St. Louis Community Impact Day of Service at the historic Mathews-Dickey Club. We are joining forces to show our appreciation to a community partner that has given so much to the youth of St. Louis for the past 65 years. Visit https://www.bgcstl.org/mathewsdickey/ to learn more about the Mathews-Dickey Boys and Girls Club. Some of the projects we have planned include interior and exterior painting, organizing storage areas, and general clean-up in and around the complex. Snacks, refreshments, and lunch will be provided. Please contact the St. Louis Platoon Leader, Kenric S. Lynn, if you have questions. He can be reached at 520-220-6503 (text preferred) or email at klynn@missioncontinues.org. We look forward to seeing you there. Charlie Mike!

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
