Event overview

It's Military Appreciation Month in NYC. We're celebrating and serving with various events around the City. This includes an Emergency Request from a Legion Post in Glendale, Queens.

The Brewery Keegan-Hessier Legion Post Hosts their Annual Glendale-Ridgewood Memorial Day Parade and After Get-together on Mon, May 26th. Our Pre-Memorial Day Beautification Project consists of the Following Tasks:
Cleaning Up the Legion Inside (example: Replacing Water Damaged Ceiling Drop Tiles).
A Cleanup of the Main Hall, etc.
Some TLC on the Outside which includes Touch Up of Paint on their Bsmt Staircase & Handrails.
Repairing their Damaged Brick Wall.

We also partnering up with IBEW 3 Veterans Club on Repairing the Legion Post's Outdoor Light Fixtures. Join Us as we get to revitalize another Legion Post for their Members and the Community At-Large. We can't do this fulfilling without You... Our Community Members with Military Families & Brethen. We appreciate your support and hope to see each and everyone at the Legion Post. Charlie Mike! (Continue The Mission)

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
