Veterans Week Close Out at Anacostia Park

Event overview

Come out as we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the passing of the GI Bill at Anacostia Park in SE DC. We will be finishing up projects that we could not complete from Mass Deployment and this will mean that we have full completed our Mass Deployment projects. For this event we will be focusing on functional beautification of the park. Repainting parking lots to include the skate pavilion, education center and boat launch ramp. Finishing the restoration of the community bulletin board, and filling gravel in pot holes leading to the northern picnic area. We hope to see you all there as we close out Veterans Day!
