Cypress Hills National Cemetery Memorial Day Flag Planting Event

On May 27th, for Memorial Day weekend, we'll be honoring our Veterans by planting flags at their grave sites. There are over 27,000 Veterans buried at Cypress Hills National Cemetery, and we will be sure to honor every last one, so no hero is left behind.

Things to Consider:
✅ Wear comfortable clothing and dress accordingly for the weather.
✅ We suggest you wear gloves as the flags are on wooden poles and can give you splinters as you insert the flags into the ground.
✅ Feel free to bring little carts or backpacks to carry as many flag bundles as possible.
✅ Bring water/hydration.
