Event overview

For this year's Veterans Day Service Project, we are partnering with a new partner, Escuela Elemental Urbana. Urban Elementary School. The School principal is highly motivated and wants to work with The Mission Continues on this project. This project will consist of painting the school basketball court. Constructing four (4) picnic tables and the restoration of a small butterfly garden. The school director is meeting with the school council on Monday to inform them about the project and our partnership with them. After the meeting, he will provide me with a letter on their request. After the letter is done we are developing a Service Project Agreement.

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
