Auburn, Washington is designated by the Veterans Day National Committee and the US Department of Veterans Affairs as a Regional Site for celebration of Veterans Day 2015. Auburn is proud to be a Vietnam War Commemorative Partner. Auburn has hosted the Veterans Day Parade since 1965. Now in its 50th year, the parade has grown into one of the largest Veteran's Day parades in the United States of America. South Sound 1st Platoon and Seattle 1st Platoon will be participating together as The Mission Continues Puget Sound in this honored tradition. Let's make our mark and represent The Mission Continues. South Sound Platoon Members are encouraged participate in the American Lions Veterans Day Luncheon from 1:30 - 3:00pm following the Parade. When registering please indicated if you plan on attending this luncheon and TMC will submit your request.

Recommended: Auburn Transit Station Parking Garage: 110 Second St. SW, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the day of the event. Other parking options are available near the event.

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
