Event overview

Project scope: We will be installing wall shelves in the storage closet. These shelves will assist the Carpenter's Shelter case managers much needed access to organized resources used to support their residents. We will further repaint inside the shelter and provide the residents a refreshing new look. There are many rooms to paint and we need all hands on deck. Registration opens at 8:30 am. We will start at 9:00 AM and end approx 2:00 PM Carpenter Shelter Mission Statement: Carpenter's Shelter supports the homeless to achieve sustainable independence through shelter, guidance, education, and advocacy. The Carpenter's Shelter serves the homeless population of Alexandria, single men, women, and families. Location: Carpenter's Shelter, 5701-D Duke St, Alexandria Va 22304. Located on the upper level of the former Macy's in the Landmark Mall Lunch: Will be provided on site.
