November 10, 2018

09:00 AM - 01:00 PM CST

Chicago Platoon

Event overview

Hope Manor I is one of the first large scale, supportive housing developments specifically designed for Veterans in the City of Chicago. Bringing these resources together in one project allows Hope Manor I to serve the unique needs of today's Veterans by providing them with a broader and more flexible continuum of resources in one location. We will be visiting with the veteran residents of Hope Manor for Veterans Day. We will be cooking up food, setting up activities, and more!

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
