Event overview

Join the Columbus 1st Platoon as we tackle on our first service project on the Southside!! Through a new partnership with the Mid-Ohio Foodbank, we will spend the day working with multiple Southside food pantries and the Clarfield Farm, an urban farm in the Marion-Franklin neighborhood. The event will kickoff at the Reeb Ave Center promptly at 9am, so please arrive a few minutes early to get registered. At the Reeb Ave Center you will receive your volunteer assignment for the day, then branch out to work with one of the pantries or at the farm. Lunch will be provided onsite and the event will wrap up back at the Reeb Ave Center! This event promises to be a great event that sets the foundation for our future support to the Southside!

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
